Green Earth International has been working towards sustainability since the last 28+ years. We believe in ‘Buy Green to Save Green’. Our main product line is Eco-friendly and green bags made of jute, cotton and canvas. We manufacture and export our products all over the globe. Green Earth International is a family built company, founded by Mr. Manish Kajaria and is now a second generation family company upholding a strong values based ecosystem in the organisation.
We export 40% of our products to Europe, 30% to USA and the balance 20% to other parts of the globe. Our customers consist of Chain stores, importers and distributors, packaging companies, hotels, charity organisations, museums, parks, promotional companies, etc.
We employ over 150-200 people and produce 5 million bags per year.

Lead time for samples:
7 days for screen prints & digital
15 days for heat transfers
Sampling Cost:
Cost of Screens are $10 per color per design and for heat transfers the cost is $100 per design these are adjustable against orders. We do not charge for sample making. Courier of samples are paid by the client.
Production Lead Time:
5-6 weeks for any quantity up to 100,00 pcs after sample approval.
Fabric Stocks:
We keep large quantities of Jute / Cotton and Canvas in natural form in stock. Light brown beige color in case of Jute and Ecru color in case of Cotton and canvas. These are all non washed and non pre shrunk. Once a customised colored/ laminated / starched/ washed fabric is required by the customers. We dye / laminate / starch/ wash the fabric in dyeing / lamination plants run by our regular vendors and then bring
them to our factory to further process them.
Price Range:
Our price range is $0.20-$4.00 with an average price of most products within $1.00
Port of Loading:
We usually ship from Calcutta ( Kolkata port) India. However we can also ship from MUMBAI or any other Indian port at an extra cost for inland transportation from Calcutta (Kolkata) to other Indian ports.
Terms:
We offer FOB , C&F , CIF & door delivery if required.
Transit Times:
It takes approximately 5-6 weeks by sea to major European and American sea ports. Sea freight is the most widely used and cost effective form of transportation. We can offer air shipments -door to airport and courier shipments – door to door -which takes 7-12 days and is much more expensive then sea freight.
Payment Terms:
Our standard payment terms are 30% deposit and balance against scan copy of BL sent by email. We may accept Irrevocable LC at sight.
Print Methods:
Silk screen printing is the most economical and widely used print method.
The printing and dyeing inks are water based, azzo free and REACH compliant. The approximate cost of a print not exceeding 30% of the area of a standard bag costs $0.03 for the first color and then $0.02 for every additional color.
We print up to 16 colors by this method. We also print 4 color process prints by screens. However the best results for process prints are achieved in Digital or heat transfer prints.
Digital Prints : To achieve smaller registration, 4 color process prints and photo prints- digital printing is the best solution. It is costlier then the conventional screen prints. The rate is based on the coverage of the prints and can be done all over and edge to edge of the bags.
Heat transfers This is the most expensive printing method where transfer stickers with any kind of prints on them are transferred on the bags by a heat press.
Foil Prints, Sequencing & Embroidery are also offered by us.
Customizations:
We customise all our products and require the model number of the product chosen from our catalogue or the picture of the bag if not in our catalogue. Size of the bag. Color of the fabric & Weight (we follow Pantone color systems and dye and print close to them) Pantone number for the printing Handle type, length & color Zipper, Velcro ( hook and loop), button Closures etc. Quantity Print artworks in pdf / ai / illustrator. So that we can quote / process your sample or order accurately.
Certificate for GOTS Organic & GRS RECYCLED Cotton Bags:
We provide certificate for the Organic / Recycled cotton use to make your bags, known as Transaction Certificate each time we ship your consignment. These certificates are issued by the governing body like Control Union, One cert etc.
